In a surprising collaboration that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Addition
